They bring the whole aesthetic down a notch imo. But when I’m asked to incorporate them 🤷‍♀️ I have no choice. Ugh. Regardless, I think this retirement board turned out okay! (Client wanted no nuts, no pickled anything and no spicy, only grapes for fruit) On the plus side, the little Boursin balls are delightful!

I understand from an aesthetics pov completely but I think for a lot of people, they may want to be able to grab or spear without touching too much around their target cube. But no nuts, no pickled? Weird. I also like those Boursin balls – I think a generally under-used cheese product

What’s your preferred cheese shaping method? I got for the half rounds and triangle cut shape depending, but if you have some devious knife skills, I am absolutely here to learn. <3

Cheese tastes better in cube form if eaten by itself. But if eaten on bread or crackers it’s better sliced.

I actually love eating cubes of cheese. Your board looks great.

It’s a lot of extra work and wasted cheese to make round or other shapes. I guess you could cut all the cubes in half. How do you feel about triangles?
