Across Breckenridge, Vail Mountain, Beaver Creek, and Keystone, guests can look forward to a series of innovative dining experiences that blend local flavours, Instagram-worthy moments, and world-class service.
As part of Vail Resorts’ ongoing commitment to culinary excellence, the new food concepts span the entire mountain, from the base to the highest peaks, offering something for everyone. These new dining options reflect the energetic, creative spirit of Colorado’s mountain culture, providing guests with both convenience and memorable moments that elevate their ski experience.
Bold New Dining Concepts Across Vail Resorts
At Breckenridge Ski Resort, dining goes beyond the ordinary, offering both innovation and local charm. The new Maggie Waffle Shop, located on Main Street, serves sweet and savoury stuffed waffles, alongside indulgent hot chocolates, perfect for warming up after a day on the slopes. Nearby, the Maggie Kitchen & Taphouse has rebranded to create a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere, serving Southern-inspired comfort food and featuring 14 beers on tap, craft sodas, and live music on Saturdays. Families can join the Maggie Mug Club for adults and the Miners Mug Club for children, making it a place where everyone can gather after a day on the mountain.
Over on Peak 9, guests can enjoy an elevated ramen experience at Overlook, which now features a signature noodle bowl selection. Additionally, the TenMile Station introduces a smoky, shareable BBQ platter and a fun s’mores experience that lets guests roast their own marshmallows. On Peak 8, the Ski Hill Grill serves playful Hot Dog Towers, while the Vista Haus brings a European alpine flair to the resort, offering traditional Glühwein, fondue, and even lively Stein Hoisting Competitions at the Rendezvous Bar.
Expanding Craft Beer Culture with Outer Range Brewing Co.
Vail Resorts has also tapped into Colorado’s thriving craft beer culture with a new partnership with Outer Range Brewing Co., a brewery based in Frisco, Colorado. Known for its hop-forward beers and community-driven ethos, Outer Range will now be featured at various mountain locations across Vail Resorts’ Colorado resorts. Custom beer cans with hand-designed, patch-style labels will bring a unique sense of place to each pour, with artwork inspired by the mountains and history of each resort. This collaboration perfectly complements Vail Resorts’ commitment to highlighting local flavours and enhancing the guest experience.
The new partnership with Outer Range Brewing Co. offers another layer of local culture for guests to enjoy, with a variety of beers available at on-mountain locations, making it easy to refresh and enjoy the après-ski atmosphere after a day of adventure on the slopes.
Beaver Creek Resort’s Elevated Alpine Dining: The Alpine Table
At Beaver Creek Resort, dining experiences are taken to new heights with The Alpine Table, an exclusive, multi-course tasting experience at Allie’s Cabin. This winter, the resort elevates the experience further, bringing together chefs to craft a bespoke menu that reflects Colorado’s seasonal ingredients and alpine culinary traditions. The collaboration with Chef Matt Vawter, a 2024 James Beard Award winner, will delight food enthusiasts with a blend of technique-driven dishes and innovative flavour profiles. This experience is complemented by a curated beverage program, featuring LALO Tequila, which elevates the culinary journey.
For those seeking a more relaxed dining experience, Beaver Creek also offers an inviting après scene, where guests can unwind and enjoy a range of elevated dining options, all while taking in the breathtaking mountain views.
Keystone Resort: Playful Dining on the Go
Keystone Resort brings a playful, spontaneous approach to dining with its introduction of Dog Cat, a snowcat roaming the mountain and serving freshly grilled hot dogs and cold drinks to guests as they gather in popular spots. This fun and mobile dining experience aligns perfectly with Keystone’s laid-back, family-friendly atmosphere.
Future plans for Timber Ridge include updates aimed at improving service areas and enhancing the resort’s quick-service outlets, ensuring guests have convenient access to delicious meals as they enjoy their time on the slopes.
Vail Mountain: A Blend of Nostalgia and Modern Luxury
At Vail Mountain, the dining experience blends classic favourites with European sophistication. The 10th introduces a nostalgic Martini Lunch for Two, which pairs truffle fries, Caesar salad, and martinis, perfect for guests looking to relax after a day of skiing. Meanwhile, the Two Elk Biergarten invites guests to enjoy Oktoberfest-inspired pairings of brats, beers, and dessert in a festive alpine setting. For those seeking more casual dining, the MidVail Terrace Level offers refreshed classics such as flatbreads, poke bowls, and salads, all available in a relaxed alpine café setting.
