Businesses and organizations hosting free Christmas Day meals

WAUSAU, Wis. (WSAW) – Several area restaurants, churches and organizations are hosting meals on Christmas Day. Some are dine in, others are drive through. Some require reservations, others do not.

Antigo

Everyone is welcome to a free community Christmas Day dinner at the White Lake Community Center on December 25th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. No charge and no reservation required. Enjoy turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, vegetables, rolls, coffee, milk, and desserts. Feel free to bring Christmas cookies or a dessert to share if you would like.

Merrill

A free 2 piece chicken dinner, dine in only, is available from 3:30-6:30 p.m. on Christmas Day at Pine Ridge Restaurant in Merrill for the first 300 people. Pine Ridge Restaurant is located at 1302 N Center Ave. The meals are provided by Carry the Cross, JRS Builders of WI, Coldwell Banker/Solomon Group and Kim of Pine Ridge Restaurant

Rhinelander

The Rhinelander Lion’s Club presents their Community Christmas DinnerCall or text (715)513-9755 for home delivery BEFORE December 24th. Please include address and number of meals requested in your message. Meals can be picked up at Trig’s Deli Express Entrance at 232 S. Courtney Street.

Stevens Point

Four Winds Ministries is offering pickup and delivery meals for those in need on Christmas Day, each accompanied by a note of encouragement and a small gift to share hope and love. Delivery is available from 3-5 p.m. and pickup is available from 5-7 p.m.

Wausau

Join St. Pauls UCC for a FREE Community Christmas Dinner served family style from noon until 2 p.m. Dinner includes ham, turkey, sides, dessert and beverages. St. Paul’s UCC- Wausau is also working to make special gifts for each person that attends the dinner. All are welcome. No RSVP neccessary

Free dinners will be available through a drive up at the Wausau Eagles Club from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. (while meals last). There is no dine in option available. Meal includes ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, veggies, etc. Limit 4 meals per vehicle.

Weston

Tine & Cellar restaurant is bringing back their Christmas Day Luncheon from 11 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. No charge. No tipping. Any optional donations (which are not expected) will go to a local charity chosen by our volunteers. Large groups are welcome, and reservations are encouraged but not required.
