I was worried this combo might be a bit weird but searching the group made me realize canned fish + avocado toast is quite common. So I wanted to know what are your guys favorite ways to eat tinned fish?
Avocado toast with everything bagel seasoning, and some mackerel. Will definitely be buying again. This is my first time ever trying mackerel, and it was really good. It can be eaten on its own. 10/10 meal. I have no complaints.
I like that it’s low sodium and boneless.

Am I a heathen if I say I’m intrigued by adding ketchup. Not with the avocado toast but just in general🤣🫣🤫
Fish truly is a delight!
Funny I just ate that. Love Season.
I absolutely love Season mackerel in olive oil, usually it’s straight to the cracker with a little salt.
When I get fancy, I’ll make a big fresh salad: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, avocado, olives. The fish gets chopped and thrown in. The olive oil from the tin is mixed with a bit of juice from the olive jar, salt and Parmesan cheese as the salad dressing. I could eat this every day if my budget allowed lol
Pretty good innit
That grilled mackerel is one of my favorite tins!! I’m still a relative beginner though.
