  1. This clam pasta is great for dinner and takes only 20 mins.

🤌The taste is absolutely delicious, with the briny and fresh flavors of clams! Today I am going to teach you how to kick it up a notch by making Spicy Clam Pasta.

    🔪Ingredients: for 2 servings
    • Clams: 300 g (10.6 oz)
    • Spaghetti: 160 g (5.6 oz, 80 g/2.8 oz per person)
    • Garlic: 4 cloves (minced)
    • Butter: 50 g (3.5 tbsp)
    • Extra Virgin Olive Oil: 30 g (2 tbsp)
    • White Wine (or spaghetti water): 150 g (⅔ cup)
    • Red Pepper Flakes: 1 tsp (to taste)
    • Celery: 1 stalk
    • Salt: to taste (adjust if using spaghetti water)

✅Crushed red pepper flakes turn a regular clam pasta into spicy clam pasta that is even more delicious, in my opinion.
✅The amount of red pepper flakes depends on your personal liking. You can always add some on top of the pasta before serving.
✅Cook the spaghetti until al dente
✅Do not overcook the spaghetti pasta. Each strand of the pasta noodle should have a firm bite in the center. The pasta will be added to the sauce so they will be cooked twice. The texture should be al dente when it’s served.
✅Do not overcook the clams. As soon as the clam shells are open, they are cooked.
✅Discard any clams that are not open as they are probably stale or dead, and might have a foul smell.
✅If you can’t take alcohol, you may skip it and use water
✅For the best results, please use spaghetti, thick spaghetti, spaghetti rigati or linguine.
