Taco Tuesday (and menudo) at Carrillo’s Tortilleria

Real great old spot in San Fernando, been around since the 30s. They make their own tortillas and even sell their own masa recipe. On Tuesdays they have deals on tacos – $2.50 for a regular one, I think $1.50 for the mini tacos. The regular size ones are fairly big for a taco, so the mini ones are probably the size you'd see from a street taco. This place gets really packed every Tuesday for the deal. I got carnitas, nice and crispy but still pretty juicy too. Menudo is also well-liked, I thought it was pretty decent, nothing spectacular, although I bet it would come in clutch when you have a cold.
