I got cheap wings a while ago and froze half. Can I sous vide as is and then broil to crisp? I’m afraid they will all stick after the bath. Thoughts?

Yes, you can do that they will be fine.

Looks like a lot of air in the bag. Use magnets, chip clips, or weights to try and keep the contents below the water.
Then invite me over to help you enjoy them!

I’d personally take them out and put them in a fresh bag to remove the air. But my old exec chef was big on that. Also gives you a chance to season them if ya want.

No. Not safe. The plastic isn’t safe to cook this way. Never do this.
Edit for clarification: These are all valid points and correct. I didn’t read the post and thought he bought the ham in that package which isn’t safe to heat and eat. Again, I’m wrong and I’m sorry.

They won’t stick. I’ve done sous vide and convection oven after often. Next time, salt them before you vac seal them. I recommend tossing them with a little (1/2t) corn starch, baking powder, and 1 T oil before broiling.

You can always add meat to the bath frozen. Just got to give it a little extra time. Other than that no difference from throwing them out. Trust me they will not stick together season them put them I need to broiler back side up first to crisp up and then put the front side up and Christmas how you want. Easy peasy

This is fine except for the lack of seasoning, but add after and with sauce they will still taste good
