Just wanted to share that I finally got my personal dream cellar! Hiding these wines away and making sure my house never went past a certain temperature was always stressful. So this is a very nice change of pace. (Cellar defenders are off to the right)

Ignore the white labels, I still have more organizing to do lol

Can I come over and drink it all with you? 😂 we can start with the Krug

How’s the vibrations? These bottles are way too expensive to age long term in a vessel that vibrates even a little.

edit: idek how to react to so many of y’all being this stupid

  4. Very nice. Does it have LED lighting?
PS I would be happy to help with the Mouton & Margaux!

  5. Whoah, that’s a nice collection of some top producers.

  6. It looks like it’s already time to get another one

  7. You need a real offsite storage location or a proper room built out as a cellar. Seriously.

Now that’s curated. Dujac, Allemand, Chantereves..

EDIT: is that a fucking Serrig? Nice.

Personally I would go for a fridge with a solid door (not a glass door), better in every aspect.

Cool cellar and even better collection! But look at the sag on that bottom bin, you’ve got to drink some of those down there!! 🤣

Love this. Finally ordered one and it’s on the way!

Yes! I feel your pain on the house thermostat! For 7 years I’ve battled my wife to ensure we kept it low enough. I finally got a wine cooler myself this year. I think I still have PTSD from it when I look at the temp in the house, but a quick glance at the 54F on my wine cooler quickly whisks it away!! Enjoy your wine and rest easy my friend!!

do you really need the labels? you should really quickly be able to memorize it all 😉

I respect your taste in wine. Nice collection

La turque, la landonne… I bet I can guess the third bottle behind them. 😀

Great to see some Aussie’s make the cut, Torbreck and Standish.

Also, we’ll need to some tasting notes to ensure you’re not building a bottle cemetary

    Thanks!

  17. That’s a really nice small collection. Wish I still had something that small to keep focused/organized.

  18. That Dauvissat is about to fall next time you open that door. Better give it to me right now I’ll give it a better treatment in my almost empty wine fridge

Wow, I don’t think you need me to tell you this, but you have a fantastic collection. What vineyard is the Guigal Brune et Blonde?

    * I believe it’s the La Turq maybe? I can’t read the other letters.

    Awesome collection!

I have the same cellar, in fact I have two right next to each other with the handles towards each other. I really enjoy them BUT, humidity control seems to be an issue with them. The first one I had sometimes reached 90%. They replaced it free of charge and still it averages 79.
Second one I bought does the same… it cycles through humidity and goes between 70 and 86%

Maintenance that once came over said the module that regulates it didn’t get enough voltage for consistent humidity.

All that to say/ask, how’s your celling doing with humidity?

Noticed that Sadie Family Palladius. We love their Skurfberg Chenin Blanc!

  22. might move that wire rack to the other side of the chiller for light/heat

Merry Christmas to you! Lol 🎄🎁

What has kept you this long from getting a fridge? Some beauties in there!

  25. EsqPersonalAsst

Congratulations! Once you have one you can’t go back!
