A special promotional program aimed at boosting exports of olive oil, dates, and their derived products was announced by Director General of the Export Promotion Center –(CEPEX), Mourad Ben Hassine,

The program targets 50 export destinations worldwide, showcasing Tunisian companies and their opportunities in international markets.

Speaking on the program Expresso, he confirmed that exporting companies, particularly those in the olive oil and date sectors, have been invited to take part in direct business meetings with heads of the Center’s overseas trade offices. These meetings were held on Saturday in Sousse.

He added that similar meetings will resume in Sfax, with the aim of establishing direct dialogue with the trade offices to identify available business opportunities and promote Tunisian exports in those markets.

He explained that the meetings bring together representatives from Algeria, Libya, Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Senegal, Côte d’Ivoire, Cameroon, Kenya, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Nigeria, the Netherlands, Italy, Poland, and Russia.

This initiative enables companies to explore markets and effectively promote their products, he stressed.
