It’s a frozen pizza, do with it as thou wish for it is not true pizza…. overruled.

  2. Petrosinella94

You can buy round metal baking pans designed for pizzas.

Personally id just just put it in the middle and let the edges sit on the rim a bit. Its fine.

Gets cut up eventually when you eat it anyway, no issue here

What the hell. Buy a pizza pan!

  6. coroyo70

But also… He could have just cut it in half…

You were presented with a problem and found a solution. Would this have been my first (or second or third) thought? No. But you’re ok

You do what you gotta do but as many others here have already pointed out a pizza pan or stone is not unobtanium and can be got affordably. You will enjoy your pizza so much more.

My GF always cooks frozen pizza on a pan, no matter what the directions say. She also always complains about it being soft or doughy. She “doesn’t trust” cooking it on the rack.

I’m not all that offended, but I’m expecting that smaller piece to cook more quickly than the rest of it.
What I would do is cut it directly in half, and place them on the cookie sheet at an angle (the flat angles towards the center) it should fit just fine that way.

I dont call this a crime because like you, I refuse to put a frozen pizza directly on the rack. I dont trust the crust’s structural integrity to NOT sink through the rack.

Just make sure it’s on the rack evenly and it never drips. Even my 13 year old can make a pizza on the rack Holy shit

  12. HouseOfZenith

Do one giant slice and use the ends to make a melt.

I can see the reasoning. I cook directly on the rack, but there is regularly burnt stuff on the bottom of my oven. Could have skipped the pan and just used the parchment.

Turn the pan upside down. Pizza will fit fine.

What’s wrong with putting it on the oven rack?

If you go to almost any grocery store, they’ll have the pizza pan in the baking isle or if they’re cool, you’ll find them on a display near the frozen za. If you make more than one frozen pizza a year, it’s worth it to buy the pan.

Soggy pizza is a crime. Cutting it to fit your pan is an additional charge.

This man is innocent! His crime? He was hungry and he endeavored to follow the instructions he was given. Is it the most graceful way to cook a frozen pizza? No, but in the world of pizza crimes, this is like a misdemeanor at worst

  19. brassmonkeyslc

I just put frozen straight on the rack

  20. marierere83

i dont see anything wrong. its a whole pizza still n it fits.

  21. Krimreaper1

Solution, buy a wire rack that sits on top of the oven’s pan. This way it’s still easy to clean up and you get the crispy bottom.

I slice the pizza in half, then arrange both halves diagonally in the pan.
