An extension of Naples native Giulio Adriani’s award-winning, NY-style Slice & Pie shops, Lucy Bar explores a different style of pizza with a chewy Neapolitan crust, plus pasta dishes that lightheartedly allude to Stanley Tucci’s Searching for Italy. There’s a laid-back trattoria vibe at the small restaurant, with candlelit low-lighting, quiet music that allows for free-flowing conversation, and extensive sidewalk patio seating in warmer weather that overlooks the buzz of 14th Street. A smaller offshoot called Taste of Lucy also opened in Union Market in September 2025, with only a handful of tables and six bar seats.

Visit during live jazz nights on Wednesday and Thursday. The musicians turn out playful renditions of unexpected songs, like a riffy “My Favorite Things” (yes, from The Sound of Music) that will make you dance in your seat.
