There are evenings when dinner becomes more than a meal. It becomes a feeling, a moment, a memory you want to linger in just a little longer. That is exactly what happened when my girlfriends and I spent a recent holiday evening at Molino’s Ristorante, located in the Promenade Mall in Bonita Springs.
From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere quietly worked its magic. A glowing Christmas tree set the tone while Italian inspired statues, swaying palm trees and gently flowing water fountains surrounded the patio. It felt festive, elegant and completely transporting. Owner Bella shared that the goal is for guests to feel as though they have escaped to Sicily for the evening, and I can confidently say that Molino’s delivers on that promise.
The food was excellent, the wine selection impressive, and the seafood among the best in the area. Everything was beautifully prepared and generously portioned, especially the pasta dishes, which were perfect for sharing and savoring. What truly elevated the evening, however, was the hospitality. The service was warm, attentive and welcoming, the kind that makes you feel like a valued guest rather than just another reservation.

Molino’s Ristorante is a family owned Italian restaurant led by owner and chef Kenny Purisic, and that sense of family and tradition is present in every detail. The restaurant offers elegant indoor dining, a stunning patio decorated for the season, a private wine cellar table that seats up to twelve guests and the ability to host private parties for up to 150 people. With a full indoor and outdoor bar and a newly remodeled restaurant and patio, the space is as inviting as the menu.
As the holidays approach, Molino’s is open for both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, making it a wonderful place to gather with loved ones and celebrate. The holiday menu highlights authentic Italian specialties, fresh seafood, generous pasta portions and a daily Italian Happy Hour that adds even more reason to linger.
It is no surprise that Molino’s has been recognized as one of the area’s greatest restaurants by multiple publications. It is the kind of place that feels special without being stuffy, festive without being overdone and comforting without losing its elegance.
If you are looking for a place to enjoy great food, wonderful wine and a true sense of holiday escape, Molino’s Ristorante may be exactly where your evening should take you.
