every time im at costco i see people acting like animals with the onion and jalapeño dispensers. i wonder how we function as a society sometimes.

People like this, and definitely not COVID, made those beautiful onion distribution systems disappear. I’ll never forget what was taken from us.

Onion thief? What a garbage person, to show up with a bag and take all of a shared item like that. She’s not just robbing the store (they can probably take it), she’s robbing everyone there. There will be no onions available for a bit, for paying customers. What happens if the store decides not to offer onions anymore because people can’t use them like they live in a society? We’ve lost a lot of complimentary stuff like this already because of parasite people like this woman.

They don’t have the dispensers anymore at our costcos. They had plastic containers with onions, and now they barely do that anymore as they said people were taking more than their fair share of them.

There’s no way to shame bad behavior anymore.

As a non Costco goer I was very confused at this image

This is similar to the people that spend 15 minutes scooping half a gallon of free salsa into 27 tiny plastic cups at taco shops.

Was at a taco place with limes and radishes and a lady filled a gallon ziplock of each and walked out.

This is like one big onion worth so she is embarrassing herself for what? Like 2 bucks?

You know, we literally just got these things back. COVID was a nightmare, and for me, this void was 30%.

They already took away our onions where I live. It sucks
Beanholiostyle
I saw a lady filling up two soda cups full of onions in front of me. A few other people did as well. She noticed and finished filling, no shame.

Aha so that’s why the onion dispensers went away … I’m embarrassed to admit that I never thought of this as the problem.

It’s China, lol. Nothing against China but this behavior doesn’t surprise me in the least. They got some greedy ass people sometimes with that famine mindset.

My moms the type of person to knock on someone’s door and ask if she peeps a fruit on their tree she may fancy. She knows half our town because of it. She walks around my pretty large town daily and for hours, so she’s seen every fruit ever probably lol. Anyways, she’s the cheapest person ever and has no shame in simply asking and would NEVER pull this, despite her having the same poor immigrant mentality she has engraved, and despite marrying my wealthy father. She only moved here around 15 years ago, but submerged into Romanian communities here so she’s lacks a lot of basic mannerisms(not to be rude, I lvoe my Romanian side so much but my mother says it herself, it’s the reason she’s a bitch). Agaib, love the woman, but my mother does infact cross boundaries sometimes when she’s cheating out, but has never stooped this low is my point. People are so annoying and entitled.

I like it better when you have to ask for a cup of onion at the counter. Sadly it’s the only effective way to combat greedy inconsiderate pigs like this slag.
PyraAlchemist
The Costco I worked at had the onions in little containers at the cash…. Y’all have onion dispensers???
Lethalspartan76
This is in China. They didn’t have a store there until 2019 so they don’t know that some people there will take everything. That’s why they lack tissues in public bathrooms. It’s a lack of civil behavior that is greatly frowned upon. Their social credit is probably not good.
