Im currently at my grandparents house in France and we have about 150 kiwis after giving a bunch away to friends from vines around our yard, does anyone know about any recipes that use a bunch of kiwis so we can finish them before they go bad. any ideas are welcome!

The first thing that comes to mind is sorbet/ice cream

Dehydrate some. Then you can eat them or use them as decoration on desserts.

Why do you have them laid out like you’re about to perform a sacrificial killing?

I get a bunch from my brother-in-law. I slice, mix with a touch of suger and put them in the dehydrator.

I cook them with sugar and blend, then spread on top of cheesecake. Can add gelatin to make it firmer. I imagine you could make a batch of this and preserve it or freeze it. Could also just make kiwi jello!

Given that much fruit, I would make a “wine” from it, which has potential for greatness, but unless you have brewed before it will mostly likely fail.

Brewing outside the usual boundaries can be tough, especially with a high-sugar fruit.

Apparently dried kiwifruit is a thing, but I have never seen it

  7. Dehydrated, fruit leather, juice (you can freeze this), pie, ice cream?

if you can dry it to a chewy consistency it’s delicious that way

How much beef can you source and do you and your grandparents like Korean BBQ?

I love beef bulgogi so much. Sometimes loving a food blinds you to a better way to make it. Asian pears are used in bulgogi marinade because of regional availability, the important ingredient is the enzyme actinidin, which is way more present in pineapples and kiwis than Asian pears.

If they can’t eat that much beef in one sitting, perhaps they can jar some homemade bulgogi marinade and gift it to friends.
