Happy Holidays all! This year, my wife and I didn't have a Christmas tree so we decided to make one with bok choy (or chingensai) for our Tongu Nabe. Other ingredients included: napa cabbage, sliced beef, assorted fish cakes, tofu rolls, snow white mushrooms, miso paste, shiro dashi stock, soy milk, Japanese pumpkin (kabocha), scallions, ginger, Maloney noodles, and surimi sticks.

It was a lot of fun, delicious, and comforting.

    I love the idea of making a Christmas tree with bok choy.

    Which ingredient ended up being your favorite in the soy milk miso broth?
