When I got into espresso, I didn’t want to spend the money on a WDT tool, so I made one myself. I had a Blantons bottle hanging around which has a nice cork on it and added some safety pins. It works great. Got a nice handle and everything. Would recommend.

Probably as effective as the $100 “planetary” spinner things

Did you manage to make $100+ improvised wdt tool?

  3. What’s most important is, is it effective, yes, job done, no, try finer pins.

    But, it looks cool.

Dang this is like the merging of two habits for me. Might have to make one too

I had one like that, but every time I had a cup my throat felt a little horse.

About as useful as a $200 one. Great job not being like the rest of us pouring money into them lmao

  7. It’s Blanton’s so it’s super unique, and taters will sell it on secondary for $250. I’d say you got a great business opportunity!

As someone who loves both Bourbon and espresso, this is awesome and I may be stealing this idea 😂😂😂

I have a few laying around after I gave up trying to collect them all

  9. Probably better than mine since my needles are too flimsy and apparently the coffe offers way too much resistance for them

I just use a roll of $100 bills. If you roll them tight enough, you can wedge in a few rusty wires there and wrap that all up tight with duct tape.

Give me an idea for some sort of espresso based monopoly. Which is really stupid.

But I really like your little tool 🤭

  12. Througbred corker of a WDT. First place by a nose 👃.

  13. Careful, someone may try to replicate and sell it for at least $120.
