There’s this little kiosk in Old Town Nice that makes simple Sicilian sandwiches, just three or four ingredients tucked into homemade focaccia. Hands down the best sandwich I’ve ever eaten.
The kiosk is right across from the beach, so the whole experience is just perfect.
One standout is the truffle sandwich: stracciatella, mortadella, truffle sauce, and arugula. Simple, but absolutely amazing.

Hello also from Nice. It’s quite nice here.
Nice
Looks like they have a shop in Lille too!
Nice
This looks amazing, I just ate but I’m hungry again
TIL stracciatella is not just a gelato, sweet, flavour 🤣
The sandwich looks amazing btw
*Nice*
I’m hungry, and you’re not helping!
Hmm interesting I didn’t see that last time I was there. I know there is a farmers market in the morning on weekends where they have juices and sandwiches but I didn’t see this one.
That looks so good.
That’s a nice-looking sandwich in Nice in a nice setting in France.
I gotta say, out of different parts of France I’ve been to, I really loved all the food in Nice. Also, Alsace and Marseille and Toulouse. I haven’t had a sandwich like this, though, and I’ve never heard of a struffle sandwich. Mortadella you say?
