Liquids and spreadables are limited to 3.4 ounces in one clear quart-sized bag in carry-on bags. Cakes, cookies, and solid pastries are allowed at checkpoints.

TSA agents suggest travelers pack larger containers and bottles in their checked bags. For more information, download the free myTSA app and search the “What can I bring?” feature. TSA is also helping travelers via text message by texting “Travel” to AskTSA (275-872).
