I wish I knew how to make cookies like this. Anyone on YouTube/recipe you recommend to help guide me?

  2. Yes, I think muted looks more elegant and bold colors are more “fun”.

Theyre gorgeously decorated but I do prefer either bright or pastel. This feels in the middle to me

I like it. Don’t come across it often in cookies.

    They’re lovely. Beautiful work

They look really good. Kind of vintage.

I love them! I’m a sucker for those vintage looking ornament shapes too. Lovely

I made cutout cookies this Christmas for the first time in many many years. I decided to go whole hog, and made one of those pyramid type Christmas trees, where you cut out 2 of each shape, and then stack them. First time making royal frosting with just egg whites powdered sugar and vanilla.
You Cookie Bakers are magical miracle workers. The amount of time, let alone ingredients is astronomical.
Your cookies are beautiful by the way.
My tree did actually turn out ok. Not shiny, not the right shade of green, and my white drizzle icing to look like snow left something to be desired creatively. This was a Christmas challenge I shan’t soon repeat.😵‍💫

i like this…. i find it very soothing. in fact i prefer this over the super bright colors

The piping and icing is very technically elegant but the color makes them read stale to me. They don’t need to be fire engine red but they’d read less that way if they reach at least a pastel level of saturation.

I saved it for nail art inspo. Lol

Honestly normally I wouldn’t think to use those tones but they look lovely! I like it ☺️

I adore this! I’m surprised there are so many nay-sayers! Variety is the spice of life. I would genuinely love to see and eat those.
