I’m breastfeeding so will have to watch the mercury level of the fish I eat. Knowing that I might get different fishes, I found a picture online of what a Joong Boo sashimi platter might look like and asked AI to identify what fish each row is. It’s telling me from top to bottom, it’s salmon (good), white tuna (avoid), yellowtail (good), ahi tuna (limit amount), salmon (good), tilapia (good). Is that correct? So sounds like I just have to avoid the white opaque fish, limit intake on dark pink tuna, but the white translucent ones should be ok?

Edit to add:
Thanks everyone for the quick responses!! It’ll be with a family gathering so I won’t be picking this up and I don’t want to add too much trouble to the family member hauling the food for us. I think I’ll just focus on salmon (which thankfully I can recognize), and maybe try one piece of the safer translucent fishes if I feel less risk averse on Christmas. And yes, I’ll stay far far away from the super white tuna. Happy holidays!!
