I’ve been watching your channel for a long time and I see you use tahini all the time. I finally decided to try making my own hummus and so I had a reason to buy tahini for the first time.
I hate it. I am so sad, because everything you make looks sooooooo good. Maybe I just need to acquire the taste. It’s just sooooo earthy. Like too earthy. Does anyone have suggestions on ways I can use it that might help me enjoy it more?
This is my first time cooking with leeks and wow are they dirty. Instead of leaving them whole I cut down length wise but not all the way in order to expose the layers to wash the dirt out. I also saw a lot of comments say that their leeks were papery instead of jammy. Mine got that way too by the end of the 40 mins so I fully encased them in foil for about 10 mins in the oven, then another 10 out of the oven in order to try to make them more tender on the inside. Idk I guess I tried to treat it like a roasted red pepper 😂. It tastes really good though
unusual recipe, but sounds so good. sounds very, very french. so many lentil salads for sale in paris, that was how i got my protein as a vegetarian while traveling there lol

U need to clean the middle of the leeks or you will eat sand!!!!

Leaks are wonderful in cabbage rolls too 🥰

Noooo why didnt you split the leeks?! 😬
Potato leek soup is top tier
Just back from the farmers markets and there were no leeks to be had this week 😭🤣 I love them, so delicious.
Thankfully the last two lots of leeks went into a cauliflower puree and a batch of pate, all batched up and in the freezer for quick meals 🤤
Me too!!!!❤❤❤🎉
This is sooo deeply relatable
This looks amazing!! But just letting you know that the recipe isnt vegan or plant based because it includes honey.
