It only took me 31 years to use one 🥲 first photo was just a bunch of leftovers from Christmas lunch (extra stuffing with absolute units for dumplingd) and the second was a chicken stew I put on this morning for 9 hours. What's your favourite crockpot recipe? I think I'll be using this beast for a while 😆

What a great gift from your Mum. Slow Cookers are the best. There are lots of slow cooker recipes all across the internet. I use mine to make stews, chili, and such.

Congratulations! I use my slow cooker three or four times a week. Lots of good slow cooker cookbooks out there too.

It is brilliant for baking potatoes. Put a couple of chicken legs with lemon and butter under the skin and some chunks of other root veg in as well. You can mash extra potatoes by ricing when they come out and otherwise microwave as needed.

A beef roast cut into bite size chunks browned with fresh onion and garlic put into the crockpot with potatoes and carrots. You have a perfect stew or veg beef soup. Warm up some bread with a small salad and poof you have an amazing dinner for a few days or you eat it until your done and freeze the rest for another day.

My favorite thing to make in the crockpot is honey balsamic pulled pork – I got the recipe online and dont remember where! I don’t want to post it and plagiarize, but I’m sure there are lots of similar recipes online! This one has red pepper flakes in it to give it a little kick. So yummy!
