Temps dropped in Texas so the soup bug kicked in. I had 4 medium yellow and 4 medium white onions along with beef and chicken stock about to kick the shelf life. Omitted the balsamic vinegar in the recipe and went with a pinot noir that sat after christmas. Satisfied the bug ten fold.     Howdy! Also Texan here and also bought the ingredients for French Onion Soup today! Hope to have it made before it hits 80 again this weekend. Sad that soup season is short here.
