It's that time of year again, when I look at everyone's delightful holiday concoctions and feel inspired by all you talented baking nerds. I made a spread of Christmas themed macarons I'm particularly proud of this year, so thought I'd try sharing instead of just creeping this time around. In order, cardamom shell with pistachio buttercream and orange curd filling, vanilla shell with orange blossom buttercream and cranberry curd filling (diy fondant holly leaves), tonka bean shell with whipped dark chocolate ganache and pomegranate curd filling, and finally my hot cocoa macarons with chocolate shells, marshmallow buttercream and milk chocolate ganache filling. I am spent but satisfied with the results, hope you cats and kittens dig em too.

Wow! Perfection! My favorite are the ones in the second photo, with the holly on them. Orange blossom buttercream and cranberry curd filling – I’ll bet those taste amazing. :o)
