I cheated a bit with the Nigiri and used a film-lined plastic mold, though I can definitely do it my self next time. Its great fun making Sushi yourself. :3

Looks 100 times better than the sushi you find at Walmart

Good job! For the hosomakis, specifically the avocado, try to get it square shaped and it’ll fit better in the roll! 🙂

Too much rice and fine sliced too small

Not bad, OP. In the future, focus on placing the protein more centrally in the roll. Use less rice on the nigiri, and serve slightly larger portions of fish. If you go to a sushi restaurant, ask for extra ginger and wasabi. Bring it home and use it in your next preparation. If you get really serious about making sushi at home, consider buying real wasabi root in your local Asian market or online.

If you’re using a press for the nigiri, just press the rice and use your fingers to press the fish on. Looks good anyway, good effort.

Well assembled, my critiques would be too much rice and a little light on fish, as others have said.
