My last restaurant was bad I thought.
Fast forward new kitchen job is kinda same but different. Has a 94 inspection grade but in my short time here I’m wondering how tf they got it.
Decided to clean up old soda syrup when, to my horror, I discovered where all my mop water was going.
Like tf is going on in this kitchen. We have inspection in 2 months and I’ve asked for the last inspection notes so I can see what they took off for but no answer yet.

You certainly opened up a can of worms for yourself.

Time to just walk away
Run.
I will not be seeing you tomorrow, chef.

I just want to know how?????
Is this ragebait? They look like Earthworms you can buy in a bag of soil at the garden center.
I’m walking right up to the owners and saying, “ yo so I’m not doing that… for less than 50/hr and a quarterly bonus.

Seeing that first picture made me feel like I was back in blight town, how the fuck does that pass inspection
Hello!
Pest technician here.
Those are milipedes.
They’re there for 2 things.
Excess moisture
Sugar from soda syrup.
They’re paying off the inspector.
If you feel stoengly about it. Report it to the state or whatever people handle food health and safety where you are.
Keep us updated chef!!
So say we all 🫡

Baby Graboids
Nice job on the clean up 🧼 👍
Bro, you got worms
they pay me in woims.
OP I’ve never seen anything close to this horrifying in over twenty years of cooking. This is worse than the senile old man who sprayed shit all the way to the ceiling.
You do not want to be complicit to any of this.
so it’s definitely millipedes right? I’ve lived in places that get infested with them at certain times of the year but this is really foul. as I felt about my own home having millipedes (but not foul standing water at least): shut ‘er down.
Please be onions…. Please be onions…. Please be onions….
Oh fuck those aren’t onions.
These are not worms. These are not worms. These are not worms. These are not worms. These are not worms. These are not worms.

Reminds me, I haven’t had pork lo mein in a while.
