Mine came with clear silicone there. Unsure if my dealer did that or the mothership.

High heat silicone. Take the vent off, acetone everything clean, then goop it up and reassemble

I got my egg second hand and had to redo the the bottom vent seal. You’ll have to remove your inside pieces. Once they are out, just unscrew the whole vent cover and it comes right off…

Lava rocks makes a good 700 degree silicone. But it’s red. I just switched my draft door to the KAmaster draft door and put some lava rock silicone around it. It’s perfect

I use Permatex high temp black RTV silicone, available at any auto parts store or most hardware stores.
