I made surprise birthday cookies for my daughter and I have to say, I have major respect for y'all after decorating these last night. I've done only simple decorations for cookies in the past, but decorating with royal icing is a whole different level! I think one of the biggest hurdles for me will be figuring out how to get the icing to the proper consistency, but I'm still pretty proud of how these turned out!
