Was lucky enough to get to go to the taco omakase at Mariscos San Pedro last night – and offering they do twice a week on Friday and Saturday at 6:30pm. It’s 14 very filling courses for about $200 all in (after taxes and auto-gratuity of 20 percent).

The menu is very seafood forward with very bold and interesting flavors. The octopus and tuna campechano tostada, for example, was laden with a brûléed hollandaise that almost tasted of queso. I never thought seafood nachos would be a thing, but, here we are. The jerk sable fish was cooked to absolute perfection and was spicy and savory and everything you’d want out of Dominican inspired fish taco.

The service is fun and interactive and the drinks are great. A delicious meal, in a fun setting. Highly recommend.
