New Halal chicken over rice place just opened up on Belmont in Lakeview. Naz’s Halal. They are doing free platters today until 5pm. Stop by for a taste.
I also paid for fries over my platter so don’t expect fries lol. Platter is good and way better than Halal Guys I say. There wasn’t much of a wait so I think they need help getting the word out.

Damn!! I would have gone today if I saw this earlier. Happy to see a place besides Halal Guys open up, I make halal chicken at home all the time and always think it beats the crap out of Halal Guys, which makes me sad because I’d like to order it instead of cooking it when I’m craving it occasionally lol.

First I’ve heard of them but it looks like they have a bunch of locations around the country, just not in Chicago. Also interesting that they maintain their own iPhone & Android app, that seems like high overhead.

What are the best Halal Platters in Chicago? Halal Guys .. is terrible, nothing like NYC, Halaleez is okay, their red sauce doesn’t do it for me … anyone have any luck or a go to for platters?

Is this over on Broadway? Might check them out next time I’m in the area.
