I just got an idea…. What if we hollowed the seeds out of the jalapeño, and put an entire sardine INSIDE the pepper? I feel like a decent sprat would fit up in there really well. Jalapeños being sardine shaped might not be a coincidence, but nature trying to tell us something. Maybe toast it under a broiler for a minute and serve up on an appetizer tray?
