Thank you for your picture post to r/sousvide. We want to remind everyone of Rule #5. Posts should be accompanied by something to foster discussion. A comment, a question, etc is encouraged.
If you’ve posted a picture of something you’ve prepared, please explain why in a comment so people can have some sort of conversation. Simply dropping a picture of food in the sub isn’t really fostering any discussion which is what we’re all aiming for.
Posts that are a picture with no discussion can and will be removed by the mods.
Thank you!!

My wife and I get one just before Christmas every year. Usually by two days after Christmas, they’re gone until next year. I’ve asked at Costco, and they say they get them in about one week before Christmas.
They’re absolutely fantastic and a wonderful value for what you’re spending.

I don’t have pix but I’d challenge you with this NYE gem: $12 pork tenderloin (after $8 off) fed a party of 11 gloriously. 3 hrs @ 138, “the blend” plus a little lawry’s seasoning, finished at 800+ on the grill to get a fine crust. Throw in homemade apple sauce, mashed potatoes, bacon-brussels sprouts, grilled asparagus, tri-color carrots two ways, garlic bread … all from Costco (and some elbow grease on the homemade stuff). We had some very happy campers.

Highly underrated cut. I’m lucky I live by a grocery chain that features them regularly.
