I am sharing my simple espresso nook set up. A bambino and a df64 with a normcore tamper, mhw-3bomber wdt and scale. This works well for the budget minded. I did install a new on/off switch (old plastic one bit the dust after a year) and a 3d printed portafilter holder for the df64 which has helped to streamline the prep process.

So jelly, got the Bambino and D64 for Xmas and I’m still trying to dial my bean and make a presentable cup …espresso noob here btw

I have the same setup but I am struggling to even steam milk properly on it. Your latte art looks beautiful so I’m assuming your steamed milk technique is pretty good. Any tips for me?

How’s the retention and mess with the DF64? I’m thinking of switching from an Opus which retains a lot and sends a lot of grounds flying

Just wanted to say that your coffee corner looks really good. Props to whoever put that together.

Your latte art is very good… I’ve had my setup for few months and I’m still bad at latte art.

I have the DF64 – would recommend getting a tiled base. I got mine from Etsy.

    Milk looks great!

I feel like I have a hard time getting the right texture on my Bambino

Are the two pieces on a mat? If so, where did you find one?

If you know what you’re doing this can get you better espresso than any of these other rich people and their $5k barista cosplay setups

How do you find the Turin does holding the portafilter? I have a similar set up, but have the Normcore portafilter and I’m wary to fill it like that…lol

Nice latte art for the bambino, which milk are you using ?

I got to use the bambino at a friend’s place, and I’m quite impressed with it (coming from the mightier and poplar breville dual boiler). Quite a capable machine with a great price and low footprint. Plus, the smaller baskets seem to be popular now.

Congrats on the beautiful and mighty capable setup!
