I followed the Foodwishes recipe. I've been doing my own meat grind for years. Thought I needed a bun worthy of the patty so I made one.I was happy, kept it simple cheese and onions.

Came out way better than my first attempt! Which were about 10 inches thick 😂

Buns look awesome! I’ve been on the home ground meat for a while now, no burgers anywhere else come close. I gotta get on the bun game!

Awesome. I made my first buns yesterday. A lot of work but very worth it.

Those look great. The bun is the foundation of a good burger and you can wreck a good burger with a lousy bun (looking at you 5 Guys).

And then you just slap some store-bought cheese on it??

  7. God, you folks are so amazing. I gotta try doing this when the snow thaws so I can grill some burgers for the family.

Look great! Space them out a bit more and give them 1-3 minutes extra or try some egg wash on there before baking and they’ll be the stuff of envy

Look Amazing. Ive been experimenting with bread myself for a year or so and I always say its hard to beat fresh out of the oven bread. Im even trying banana nut bread and the first attempt tasted good and was spot on with moisture. I just didn’t have any banana flavoring and bananas were not very ripe. A girl friend of mine sent me her recipe yesterday for it and its supposed to rain all day here in South Carolina so im planning on making 2 pumkin pies, a strawberry cheesecake and if I make my groceries run il get everything I need for banana nut bread. I hate bringing in groceries in the rain though. Im disabled and walk slow with a cane and we usually get 700 dollars worth of groceries to last the month for dad and myself. I cook him so good healthy food.
