If you can recall the flavor of “real” pepperoni, how close was this to it? In my 6 years of being vegan, pepperoni is probably the only animal product I’ve missed

There was one in the Chicago suburbs and I went there really often. Then, all of a sudden, they just closed. Still think and talk about it- no idea there was one in Houston. Maybe the owners moved?
