Summertime is the best for fresh and local seafood , especially if you live near a coast like we do. Well, close enough! These Cherry Stone clams were only $5 for a dozen!! And they came out so good I bought two more dozen the next day for only $10 more!! They were so fresh and amazing and honestly the “toughest” part is waiting for them to release all that sediment and sand to clean them. Because nobody wants a mouth full of that! You can’t beat a cheap but elegant appetizer like this, or pour over some pasta and turn it into a meal! Ingredients you need are:

1-2 dozen cherry stone or little neck clams
1 lemon
6 oz white wine
5 tablespoons butter, divided
4 cloves garlic, chopped
2 tablespoons parsley

Bread for soaking up that delicious broth!! Or pasta to make dinner!
