I came very close to buying an Evo Leva a few years back, but was offered a good deal on a Slayer and decided to go for that. As much as I liked the Slayer, I was still very interested in owning a lever machine, so during the Christmas holidays i took delivery of this.

It's definitely a more advanced machine, so there's a learning curve, but so far all shots have been very tasty

What are the main things you have to learn when switching to a lever like that?

Nice! Have a Nurri Leva (very similar machine), it’s fantastic. I find that playing with the settings is fun, but almost any higher ratio shot comes out great. Light roasts in particular are easy to pull.

Oh yes. That’s a very good choice. I would love to have the auto flush feature on my Londinium.

Very nice set up. Love the twin Kafatek grinders too. Lever machines are hard to beat.

These machines are sexyAF. I’d never own one because I’d never use it

Congrats, great choice! Mine should arrive in a week or two! What is the machine standing on? Currently undecided where I will put mine since it is quite large/ heavy

Congrats! I have had the Vesuvius Evo Leva 2 instead of the Vostok for a year now, and it’s been the best tasting morning coffee we’ve ever had.

I could think of worse ways to spend that money you have on your station. I’m happy for you, well done!
