Hi, I'm completely new to Kamado Joe. I found a used one at a good price but there's a problem with it as it appears to have a crack in the firebox I think. Would this affect the cooking performance, also is this something that can be fixed?

It will cook fine. Outer shell is good? You can order a replacement part. No warranty replacement unfortunately since it’s resale.
It IS a crack in the firebox. Are you buying it from the original registered owner? Why not get him to initiate a warranty on the firebox to sweeten the deal?
