TikTok chef Tineke “Tini” Younger briefly returned to social media following her baby’s death to clear up a rumor about her viral mac and cheese recipe.

“This is the least of my problems because it’s literally Mac n cheese,” Younger, 24, wrote via her Instagram Stories on January 3. “But that recipe is MINE.”

The post came after online users speculated that Younger, who first went viral for her mac and cheese in 2023, stole the recipe from husband Antoine Wright Jr.’s family in order to make a profit. However, Younger explained that she taught Wright’s mother to make the dish.

“Antoine’s mom did not teach me how to make it, it’s not her recipe,” she added. “I literally have a video teaching my in laws how to make MY recipe to Mac n cheese. People like to believe things when it comes from a 3rd party instead of the actual person.”

Younger also alluded to the recent death of one of her twin daughters, Arya.

“And to the people that are making videos about stupid Mac n cheese and making it a problem, I’m glad Mac n cheese is a problem to you and could only wish that Mac n cheese is my problem,” she continued. “And to the people bringing my deceased daughter into ‘Mac n cheese drama’ and using it to get more views on your post, I hope you rot in hell no sugar coat.”

Younger announced in November that she and Wright, 23, had lost Arya, also known as Baby A, after she suffered a pregnancy complication.

“This isn’t the post I ever thought I would share once the twins came, unfortunately earlier this week we lost our sweet girl Arya (Baby A),” she wrote via social media at the time. “We made it almost 36 weeks we were so close to being done and getting the girls to term but I had a placenta abruption and we lost our sweet girl.”

According to Mayo Clinic, a placenta abruption is an “uncommon yet serious” complication that occurs when the placenta partly or completely separates from the “inner wall of the uterus before delivery.” This can cut off the supply of oxygen and nutrients to the fetus and lead to “heavy bleeding in the mother.”

“Her twin sister is doing really good and breathing on her own,” Younger wrote, referring to her surviving daughter, known as Baby B or, more recently, L. “They both are so beautiful and Arya will always be celebrated, her sister will know she is a twin and has a beautiful twin sister. I will be taking a break, not sure for how long but I promise I will be back. I love you guys.”

After more than one month away from social media, Younger returned on January 2 to share an update on her family.

“Just wanted to hop on socials real quick and just let everyone know L (baby b) is doing good, we love her so much. We remind her everyday about Arya and Arya definitely plays with her sister in her dreams, L loves to smile in her sleep,” Younger wrote. “I’m not sure when I will be back, I’m still emotionally and physically trying to heal, I’ve had some complications during my postpartum which I’m still trying to recover from. Thank you to everyone who sends love.”
