I recently had to replace the power cord for my egg genius and it is not pairing with my phone the light blinks but never goes solid. Do I need to purchase a new cord or is it something that is a different fix.

Try to factory reset it. Uninstall and reinstall the app, too. That’s worked for me.

Nah, follow the directions on the Flame Boss 400 website to factory reset it. Then set it up again. You should also force stop the app or restart your phone before trying again. The app is super buggy.
Also, if you can, create a new SSID (wireless network) on your router that runs _only_ in 2.4ghz mode. Connect your phone to that before starting and have the Genius join that network too. The wireless radio in the device only operates on that frequency.
