First time back in a little while and just solid. I love that there a ingredients and flavors you don’t see in other spots, high quality across the board, lovely family business, and a really unique and fun wine list.
Banru Mezze – 3 cheese spread topped chili and burnt parsnip. Paired with matnakash – Armenian bread. Really flavorful.
Fatoush salad – the winter version features squash and persimmon. I like the summer version more but solid
Ghapama – acorn squash stuffed with, among other things eggplant dashi. Very fall/holidays tasting, maybe a bit too much of the holiday slices but still quite good
Not pictured – their potato dish with black garlic and allepo biber. So good!
Ashta Tart – center is very loose and runny for a tart but crazy yummy. Pistachio halva, dehydrated olive oil
Overall great! We ate vegetarian. Cannot speak to the meat but I’d guess it’s just as good.
