    Likely chiltepin also known as the bird pepper. It grows in the wild in central america and Mexico. The birds spread the seeds.

  2. I have had a number of peppers that crossed with Black Pearls end up looking like this. We use Black Pearl peppers in our landscaping and we’ve seen this phenotype show up at least four times in following-year volunteers. My hunch would be that you have some kind of hybrid there, which volunteered due to being enhanced by hybrid vigor.
