Windstorm blew it over and it completely fell apart, so previous owner posted it for scrap. Turns out it was only assembled with the minimum amount of bolts to keep it together. Not sure if was an end of year display model or what? After some minor dent repair, a thorough cleaning, and proper assembly, she’s good to go. Bonus that it is natural gas, which I happen to have a hookup for. Sometimes those morning FB scrolls pay off.

What a deal. That’s exactly what I would want for a new gas grill

Huge score. I check FB and nextdoor free postings here and there and have found some gold

Dang, that’s an awesome score! It’s wild how often scrap stuff just needs a little TLC. Did you have all the bolts and parts, or did you have to hunt any extras down? I got a Weber Genesis off the curb last summer, only needed a new igniter and grates, and it’s been killer ever since.
