  2. Chicken pot pie

    Pot Pie Filling:
    – 1 tablespoon olive oil
    – ½ cup finely chopped onion or shallots
    – ¾ cup (113 to 170 g) chopped celery
    – 1 ½ cups (about 227 g) chopped carrots
    – 1 ½ cups (about 283 to 340 g) peeled and chopped – (1/4-inch) potatoes
    – ½ teaspoon salt
    – ¼ teaspoon coarsely ground black pepper
    – 5 tablespoons butter
    – ½ cup (71 g) all-purpose flour
    – 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth or stock
    – 2 cups 2% or whole milk
    – 3 cups (about 340 to 454 g) cooked, diced chicken (used breast and thighs)
    – ¾ cup (85 to 113 g) frozen peas (added corn too)

    Biscuit Topping (option 1):
    – 2 ½ cups (284 g) all-purpose flour
    – ¾ teaspoon baking soda
    – 4 teaspoons baking powder
    – 1 teaspoon salt
    – 11 tablespoons (113 g) salted butter, cut into pieces and well-chilled
    – 1 ¼ cups buttermilk

    Pie Crust Topping (option 2):
    – One 9-inch double crust recipe

  3. Apple pie
    – 1 recipe for double pie crust (will post if needed)
    – 2 1/4 lbs Granny Smith Apples (I used honeycrisp), peeled, cored 6-7 apples (7 cups thinly sliced)
    – 1 1/2 tsp cinnamon (added nutmeg)
    – 8 Tbsp unsalted butter
    – 3 Tbsp all-purpose flour
    – 1/4 cup water
    – 1 cup granulated sugar (used Swerve and maple syrup)
    – 1 egg , + 1 Tbsp water, for egg wash

  4. Brownies
    – very ripe bananas (2)
    – egg (1)
    – peanut butter (1/2 cup)
    – honey or maple syrup (3 tbsp)
    – cocoa powder (1/4 cup)
    – optional: walnuts, salt

    That pot pie looks incredible. No flour or anything in the banana brownies? How prominent is the banana flavor and what’s the texture like?
