January 06, 2026 // Franchising.com // Tempe, Ariz.– SYNERGY® HomeCare has announced the opening of its newest location in California’s wine country, SYNERGY HomeCare in Paso Robles.
The agency is owned and operated by Christian Beller, a young entrepreneur locally based in Paso Robles, who spent much of his childhood being raised with the help of his grandmother, who instilled a sense of responsibility within him to take care of his friends, family, and neighbors in need. Today, that sense of responsibility is what has inspired him to start his own home care business.
Located in Paso Robles, the agency proudly serves residents throughout Paso Robles proper and Templeton with a wide variety of non-medical, in-home care services, from companion care to personal care and respite care.
With deep roots in California’s wine country, Beller was able to recognize the area’s significantly increasing aging population and their growing need for these services, particularly among Baby Boomers. U.S. Census statistics show that 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every day and that by 2030, there will be more than 70 million people over 65. According to the AARP, over 80% of this demographic reports wanting to remain in their own homes for as long as possible.
Aside from the knowledge he has from being locally based in the area, Beller also spent a significant amount of time researching the area’s local home care community in order to identify the gaps where people’s needs were going unmet. With his professional background in hospitality, combined with the natural caregiving prowess that his grandmother and the rest of his family inspired within him, Beller was able to easily identify how his company could best serve the needs of the community.
“The prospect of caring for others – especially those in the community where I already have deep roots – is incredibly fulfilling to me,” said Beller. “When I did my research, I noticed that not many providers have the commitment that I believe is necessary to work in this field. Caregiving responsibilities don’t just come and go within the normal 9-5 business hours of most companies; instead, they need to be readily available around the clock with someone who truly cares on the other side of the phone. This is where I know our company will fit in.”
With California’s growing senior and retiree populations, combined with the rising number of multigenerational households, residents often require additional help with everyday tasks—from cooking and running errands to doing light housekeeping or keeping up with personal care needs like bathing and dressing.
