Traeger model 155.01 small grill, just bought it and was working well when I bought. The ignition is hot when I touched it but it’s not smoking when pellets are in and the temp won’t change.

Check if the fan blades are spinning. I used my new smoker the first time and the next day the fan had just enough friction to prevent it from spinning up.

YouTube has videos on how to take them apart..you will be surprised how simple the technology is on them. Then if anything is out check pimpmygrill.com for parts.

For me, the hot rod would heat up but there wasn’t enough airflow to get the pellets burning properly, so it never smoked or got hot. Have you checked if the fan is spinning when you turn it on?
It might be jammed up or just not working. Also, sometimes old pellets can absorb moisture and won’t ignite as easily.Try cleaning out any dust or old ash from around the fire pot, and maybe swap in some fresh pellets if you haven’t yet.
