For the past seven years, I’ve been making dressed-up gingerbread people for my niece and nephew. This year, my 9-year-old niece requested her cookie character wear a My Melody-inspired outfit. Since My Melody mostly just has the ears + bow situation going on, I leaned into texture, texture, texture to build out the rest of the look.
And by popular demand: for the past few years these “gingerbread” people have been chocolate cookie sandwiches filled with salted dark chocolate ganache.
