Was walking by the sashimi isle at the Japanese market by work and a worker put this out and I noticed it’s the same tray and the one next to it for $55. Safe to say I have dinner tonight

“Clearance fish” isnt a phrase I necessarily want to see. Especially if I plan on eating it raw . I’m sure it’s fine and I’m a bit jealous but there’s some cognitive dissonance going on here as well

Ir should be noted the clearance item is sell by one day after the non clearance one 😅

  3. Huh….. the clearance fish has a sell by date farther out than the full price one.

Honestly yeah I’d run that. Def doesn’t look the absolute best but it doesn’t look like poison either

That sell by date would make me not want to buy it. Raw fish is only good for about a day. That says several days. After that you may be on the toliet for some time. Also maybe its bad lighting but some of that tuna looks discolored.

  6. So we ate it, no fishy smell, or off taste anything so will see but tasted just fine. If I update tomorrow that mistakes were made everyone will know why ahha

Oh my god look at that tuna, its half grey. I know oxidized does not necessarily mean spoiled but man is that not appealing

I would not eat that. The tuna looks terrible. Why settle for that? Never be cheap when it comes to your stomach.

I know Osaka when I see it, was my favorite for a cheap sushi fix but now it’s kinda pricey
