I'm far from a wine connoisseur, but had an amazing time in Mendoza. Great food as well, and everything was very inexpensive coming from the US. Highly recommend!

Nice. Everything that comes out of that winery is good. Their Chardonnay punches way above its weight. Jealous.

Huge fan of the winery. Insane value at the price point. How was the visit?

You should tried their Semillon, if you liked the Chardonnay. They recently scored 100pts Parker with their 2018 As Bravas Malbec (for those who care about points anyway)

  4. Can’t go wrong with Catena / El Enemigo. I love their Bonarda.

  5. I Just recently bought a six pack of their 2021 Cabernet Franc Gualtallary ($75/ea) and tried a bottle. Young but very pleasant as it open up in the glass. I’ll have to look for some of their other wines.

Mendoza was one of the best wine trips I’ve taken. The culture, the people, the geography, the food and obv the wine.

El Enemigo is worth the price to eat there. The Gran Enemigo tasting is great.

Explore further south into Uco Valley and try some of the wineries down there. Zuccardi, sure but try SuperUco and others.

Near Lujan de Cuyo there are lots of wineries that have not only great wines but fantastic meals. Argentinians like to take long lunches and tastings. We were never rushed.

Planning to go again in 2-3 years.
