I’ve made this for years and call it cowboy casserole. I haven’t tried cutting up the biscuits I usually just separate them and line them in a 9×13 baking dish. Then the sausage then egg mixture, cheese and gravy on top. Also I like to sauté some onions and peppers to go on top too which adds great flavor!
